This looks very similar to the genuine texts being sent to patients to arrange their appointments at the GP led vaccination services.Spread the word that the COVID-19 vaccination is ONLY available from the NHS and it is FREE \u2013 people will never be asked to pay for it or give their bank details.There&#8217;s more information on the vaccine rollout in West Sussex&nbsp;here.Budget and &#8216;Our Council Plan&#8217; to be discussed this weekA plan which sets out what we should focus on in the future, a five-year capital investment programme, and the day-to-day budget for the coming year could be agreed by West Sussex county councillors&nbsp;this week.At the Full Council meeting&nbsp;on Friday (12 February),&nbsp;councillors will decide whether to approve the &#8216;Our Council Plan&#8217;, which sets out how money should be spent and performance measured.The plan sets out the key priority outcomes for the council over the next four years, focusing on learning from the response to COVID-19 to ensure the council provides the best support it can for residents, both now and in the future.An extra \u00a312m investment in highways and \u00a310m to address the challenges of climate change are two of the investments which are proposed in the revised five-year Capital Programme.&nbsp;An increase in council tax of 1.99% is proposed &#8211; plus an additional 3% for adult social care \u2013 making a total increase of 4.99%. It&nbsp;aims to help&nbsp; mitigate the impact of lost income during the winter period due to the coronavirus pandemic, and ensure services providing vital support can remain viable.The fund focuses on enabling the struggling, but most impactful, youth organisations to continue operating, where they may have scaled back service provision or temporarily closed due to reductions in their income following COVID-19. This would ensure young people, especially those who are disadvantaged, have uninterrupted access to services, and could prevent local grassroots organisations from permanent closure.Applications deadline is&nbsp;5pm 19th&nbsp;February 2021.
